Mandala II is part of the Chimene series. During the course of producing this series of paintings a friend pointed out that they were in fact Mandala's, since I had not encountered Mandala's before I had to go off and research them. Having done this I had to agree that unconsciously I had been producing Mandala's and they where in fact a form of meditation for me. This is the second of two paintings produced in this style the other being Mandala I.

Please note this painting has some silver colour and so catches the light. The front photograph presents this more accurately.
