Signed, dated and titled on the back of the canvas.

I wanted a painting that felt modern, as I painted it I realised the design and colouring began to look like a fascist flag (have you noticed how many flags use these colours?). Fascist seemed like the right name for a modern painting. War and hatred instead of peace and love. Should have lived through the sixties instead of being born in them. Bad timing I guess. Thinking about it Vietnam wasn't that peaceful a place in the sixties. Maybe just the scenery changes.
