This was an experimental painting almost what I call an "accidental". I tried one or two concepts out here before developing them further in larger scale work. Alpha Centauri is the closest star system beyond our own solar system. The title does not directly relate to the painting and in fact comes from Stephen Hawking's book A Brief History of Time: From the Big Bang to Black Holes

Please note this painting has some silver colour and so catches the light.
